Kiss & Clasp reflects on the utilitarian purposes of accessories in our lives, as well as their aesthetic value. Taking inspiration from the works of Bonnie Cashin, this collection turns the coin purse into a whimsical motif. Surrealist and literal interpretations the bag not only appear as embellishments, but also as functioning pockets. My collection aims to establish that functionality in fashion can be approached in a fun and feminine manner, not impeding upon the wearer’s desire for self-expression.
