The objective for this project was to properly construct a french lining and to attach a mini bodice that incorporated fluting and ruching. The French lining is fully boned and interfaced, using bermberg rayon, siri interfacing, and ridgeline and encased boning. For the outside of the bodice, I used silk chiffon in dreamy pastels. I was heavily inspired by prom dresses from the 1950s while creating this project, and wanted my bodice to have a fun and romantic feel.
